Facebook’s working on an app that may bring virtual reality to phones

Facebook plans to bring virtual reality (VR) to your phones. The social network is working on a stand-alone video app that will support 360-degree or “spherical” videos. The format, typically compiled from multiple cameras, will allow users to change their viewing perspective by merely tilting their phones. Though in its early stages, the app, when released, is likely to work on many platforms including Apple devices & Android.

Facebook working on a Twitter-like app?

There are some reports doing the rounds Online that Facebook is planning to introduce a Twitter-like app for publishers. As of now, FB has refused to comment on these reports. We will keep you posted.

Everything’s working just about right at Twitter, yet people want more

Micro blog Twitter may have posted higher than expectations revenue & profit for the 2nd quarter today but a section of the investors & analysts is still not very happy. Twitter top boss interim-CEO Jack Dorsey, himself belongs to the latter. He told investors in his 1st earnings call – it will take time to fix all the issues. So far as user base is concerned, it has been growing, but not at a pace many would have liked.
