Facebook’s working on an app that may bring virtual reality to phones

Facebook plans to bring virtual reality (VR) to your phones. The social network is working on a stand-alone video app that will support 360-degree or “spherical” videos, according to Online reports. The format, typically compiled from multiple cameras, will allow users to change their viewing perspective by merely tilting their phones. Though in its early stages, the app, when released, is likely to work on many platforms including Apple devices & Android.
