Bing replaces Google in Microsoft-AOL advertising deal

1st it lost Mozilla to Yahoo Search, now it’s lost another major deal. Microsoft’s just announced it was handing over parts of its display advertising business to AOL. The latter was recently acquired by Verizon. As part of the deal, AOL will make Bing its default search engine instead of Google for the next decade.

Microsoft outs the various editions of upcoming Windows 10

Software company Microsoft is going public with its list of Windows 10 planned SKUs, or editions. Not counting the 3 embedded/Internet of Things (IoT) versions, there will be 6 Windows 10 SKUs – Home, Mobile, Pro, Enterprise, Education & Mobile Enterprise, according to a blog post from Windows Marketing chief Tony Prophet.
