Microsoft outs the various editions of upcoming Windows 10

Software company Microsoft is going public with its list of Windows 10 planned SKUs, or editions.
Not counting the 3 embedded/Internet of Things (IoT) versions, there will be 6 Windows 10 SKUs – Home, Mobile, Pro, Enterprise, Education & Mobile Enterprise, according to a blog post from Windows Marketing chief Tony Prophet.
Tentatively slated for release this summer, Microsoft plans to make Windows 10 available as a free upgrade for consumers running Windows 7, Windows 8.x & Windows Phone 8.1 for the 1st year following availability of the Windows 10 operating system.
