Great Chinese purge: Over 60,000 fake social media accounts deleted
Some fake names that were being used included Barack Obama & the likes. New regulations are to come in from March 1 this year to be implemented by China’s State Internet Information Office, following which Chinese social media networks such as Sina Weibo had purged their membership lists of such fake accounts.
