Almost all streaming platforms grew in 2019. A report called, “State Of The Stream 2019” by StreamElements & Arsenall.gg said while Twitch & YouTube Gaming lost a little market share, the total number of viewership hours grew for everyone. It was Facebook Gaming & Mixer that grew viewership hours the most, though.
“Twitch made some moves of their own, such as taking Nick Eh 30 from YouTube & locking in DrLupo, TimTheTatman, & LIRIK with extended contracts”, the report added.
