Software glitch affects millions of smartphones worldwide – News

A software issue in systems provided by Ericsson has affected millions of mobile phone users around the world who have been unable to use their smartphones. Japanese smartphone users on the SoftBank network & British customers on O2 were affected on Thursday by the outage. O2’s 4G network crashed around 5 a.m. local time in the UK.
