‘Shuffle’ – an interactive Twitter bot for scheduling & making ad-hoc reservations

If you want to schedule an event or make reservations while you’re texting or on Twitter, you’re pretty much forced to get off your favorite new chat app & into a clunky scheduling interface & make sure the people you’re inviting have it too. With ‘Shuffle’ you can make reservations & send calendar invites directly from Twitter.

Twitter’s interactions are free form & often result in serendipitous stuff taking place that can lead to get-togethers & to booking meeting rooms, restaurant tables or to scheduling tasks among participants in conversations. Shuffle allows you to schedule stuff & to make reservations for yourself or with your friends & chatmates. It can RSVP for you so you can make reservations & send calendar invites.

Shuffle asks for details & then generates a fancy card, sending you a calendar invite. The 1st time using it, Shuffle asks you for details regarding your email so it can send invites. Shuffle will also get you and a 2nd person an Uber car for free through Uber Central if you’re currently attending an event in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The startup is based in San Francisco, California (USA) & is led by Canadian builder James Hill-Khurana. James Hill-Khurana bills Shuffle as an experiment for now & is offering the service for free, & in fact it has yet to have its own website. He seems to have gotten inspiration for the service from other scheduling apps like Fin & Polymail.
