Last week at Google I/O, Google announced a new Shopify integration, & today, Google said it was extending the same to retailers on WooCommerce, GoDaddy & Square for free. This open ecosystem approach means that retailers will have even more ways to get discovered across Google, & shoppers will have even more choice, claimed Google.

Shopify today announced it is expanding Shop Pay, the e-commerce company’s accelerated checkout solution, to Google. The expansion, set to go live later this year for US merchants, will allow merchants that enable Google’s native checkout feature (Buy on Google) to offer Shop Pay as a checkout option.
