Samsung will introduce NFT integration in its TVs – Web3

In an effort to stay ahead of the curve, Samsung is touting NFT integration as a core feature of its TVs starting in 2022. In the company’s pre-CES press release, this isn’t discussed in any detail aside from a bullet point that mentions a marketplace where users will be able to buy & trade digital art. Samsung, however, has also not disclosed what blockchain technology or token support it offers.

Samsung Electronics announced Monday that its new smart TVs will allow users to purchase non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Specifically, MICRO LED, Neo QLED, and The Frame TV models, which are set to launch sometime this year, will support NFTs. “With demand for NFTs on the rise, the need for a solution to today’s fragmented viewing and purchasing landscape has never been greater.
