Much of Rackspace’s hosted Microsoft Exchange services were taken down between Dec 3 -5in what the company has described as a “security incident”.
Early on Dec 5 EST, Rackspace said it had “successfully restored email services to thousands of customers on Microsoft 365 & continue to make progress on restoring email service to every affected customer.” It said in the announcement that for now, moving to Microsoft 365 was the “best solution for customers who can now also implement temporary forwarding.”
