AI generated content

With over 320 million creative assets available, Adobe Stock has announced re-worked guidelines for submitting illustrations developed with generative AI – enhancing customers’ creative projects.

This comes after the use of early generative AI technologies raising questions about their proper application. In response to these questions, Adobe has implemented the new submission policy that will ensure Content utilizes AI technology responsibly by creators & customers.

No doubt the emergence of generative AI is a major leap forward for creators, allowing them to create imagery faster by utilizing words, sketches, & gestures. In order to diversify their portfolios, expand their creativity, & increase their earning potential, Adobe Stock contributors are using AI tools & technologies. But now, Adobe wants its contributors to label generative AI submissions going forward, in accordance with the guidelines for AI generated Content.

We’re also continuing to invest in attribution innovations, including digital provenance technology developed by the Adobe-led Content Authenticity Initiative (CAI). With more than 800 members, the CAI is enabling attribution for creators, while providing transparency about the facts and origins of digital content — beyond just Adobe products.
