Pocket Casts, podcast app bought by Automattic – News


Automattic, the parent company of WordPress, has bought podcast app, “Pocket Casts”. It made the announcement on its official blog. The exact details of the deal were not revealed.

Over 80 million people in the US alone, claimed Automattic, listen to a podcast weekly. The popular podcast app makes it easier for fans to discover podcasts & customize their listening experience.

Features offered by Pocket Casts:
