Automattic of WordPress fame has launched a standalone team collaborative tool called, “P2”.
The history of P2 is interesting. For years, Automattic has it made available as a theme for WP bloggers. Prior to that, it was used for internal communications.
Now, P2 has been released in beta for the masses. Automattic has described it as the chance to “give everyone a place to see all of their projects & files, to help collaborate transparently, & to do it all without constant distractions.”
P2 organizes all your files, projects, & conversations on one screen, so your team can collaborate from anywhere. It’s a solution in today’s pandemic for remote teams, digital nomads, & extended families.
P2ing is way more than posting status updates. When you’re P2ing, you can:
- Add a document
- Embed images
- Or @mention your remote teammates.
And you can do it all in a simple workspace where everyone can see & access everything they need, says Automattic.
