Photoleap, developed by Lightricks, is a digital art creation playground that allows users to enhance, recreate and adorn their photographs as well as create generative AI art from scratch.
For photo enhancing the app offers a plethora of tools which users can use in tandem or separately to spice up their selfies or any other photographs. The classic tools can be used to retouch images :
- Sharpen blurred images
- Colorize old images to revitalize them
- Brighten & adjust the hue, saturation or exposure of an image.
The app has a background editing tool that allows users to either remove the background all together or replace it by selecting from a library of background images & enhancing effects. If users need to only remove parts of the background or sections of the photo, the app has tools that make this process a breeze.
Still images can be brought to life using Photoleap’s animation effects. Users can create 3D images using the motion editing tool. Sections of the image can be animated by simply grouping the area using the sectioning tool, so that, for instance, water in an image can flow, the clouds in the sky can “sail”, or hair can blow in the “breeze”. There are numerous fun options available on the app to delight users’ imaginations.
Photoleap also features an AI text-to-art generator that works using either text on its own or text combined with an image. By using this innovative AI tool users can easily generate Avatars using any image they choose. The resultant Avatars can take on a variety of forms, such as, cartoon characters, Dungeons & Dragons type avatars andmany, many other varieties.
New capabilities are launched monthly. One such tool is Photoleap’s “period room” tool, which allows users to take a photo of any room and change its style to look as if it comes from a different age.
The Photoleap app is free to use, but many of the features and effects are only available for subscribers. The app is available for IOS and Android.
