Nintendo enters into collaboration with DeNA, to make smartphone games

Japanese gaming company Nintendo has announced an alliance with mobile game company DeNA. This will be a business & capital alliance. 

The collaboration will finally allow Nintendo to get a piece of action in the mobile games space. It will also enable DeNA to strengthen its foothold in Tablets & smartphones. Nintendo chief executive Satoru Iwata also announced that Nintendo was building a hardware platform dubbed the NX. But he did not elaborate further.

All the announcements were made at a press conference in Tokyo. The 2 Japanese companies will develop new games for phones & smart devices, using Nintendo’s intellectual property.
