Google introduces new Site to help you select your next Android phone

What do you when you wanna buy a smartphone? Ask friends, do some Online research, read reviews? Now, for those of you who are planning to buy an Android phone at least, big brother Google’s holding out a helping hand.

It has floated a Website which can help you zero on to Android phones that suit your needs. Called Android Phone Picker, potential Android phone buyers, 1st time or repeat, can go here, select from the various options listed, in order to allow the Site to throw up the best smartphone for you.

The various criteria listed, include: watching videos, making calls, listening to music, or taking photos. You may select 1 or as many as you want. Eg: You may select ‘watching video’, & then you have to choose from other criteria like ‘once a day’, ‘every hour’, & so on. Quite detailed at that.  With photos, for example, you tell the Android Picker tool that you take either 5, 20, or upwards of 40 photos per day.

By the end of this exercise, Google claims, you will be given a shortlist of the Android smartphone that best suits you.
