Stephane Kasriel, head of commerce & fintech at Meta, tweeted that Meta has decided to stop offering its NFT & digital collectibles capabilities on Facebook & Instagram.
Midway through 2021, the business began rolling out NFTs to a select set of Instagram & Facebook users, but it has since moved its attention to other technologies including messaging & finance tools. Experts are interpreting this move as a setback to NFTs.
