Did you know that Google actually has a Website, “Killed By Google“, where you can see a list of the apps & services killed or to be killed by the Internet giant?
The Internet search company discontinues products when it anticipates them not holding a dominant market position, even if the product has a sizable user base & is lucrative. For Google to invest in smaller projects that have outgrown their development potential makes no sense, especially if they are specialized & losing money.
