How this Microsoft new tool can help you build a chatbot – e-Why, What & How

Imagine an environment where everyone can build their own chatbots?  Microsoft  recently introduced its Microsoft power visual agents tool. This, unlike any the company has ever produced, is a new no-code tool that can be used in building chatbots. These chatbots can then be incorporated into various Microsoft  platforms including the Microsoft flow automation tool.

With the excitement of the launch, Whats New On The Net decided to peek under the hood to find out what the power virtual agents tool is capable of, & how its introduction may revolutionize automation.

Integrated with the Azure’s existing AI smarts & tools for building bots, the power virtual agent is designed to make building a chatbot easy. In fact, according to the announcement by Microsoft, it should make it as easy as writing a Word document. By implication, it means anyone with a basic knowledge of how the computer system works can now build a bot.

As a latest addition to the power platform family, the power virtual agent is focused on a low-code design that can be accessed by any individual from any walk of life. Hence, you don’t need to be a professional developer or an analyst before you can build a conversational agent that is AI-driven.

Elsewhere, Charles Lamanna, in an interview prior to the big announcement, made it obvious that with the power virtual agent, each business or individual can build a conversational agent that can solve their employee problems & also take care of problems relating to customers & partners in a natural way.

True to his statement, the new release is capable of handling the full lifecycles of the bot-building experience. From the primary stage of creating the dialog to making the bot available in chat system, the power virtual agents come in handy to eliminate unnecessary waste of time. Rather than spend your time trying to provide answer to every possible question, you can rely on the tool to provide answers to every question. It is capable of understanding your intent & can extract each entity to suit the topic of concern. As a plus, like other AI systems, the tool uses feedback from users to build its own knowledge base.

Among the many exciting feature of the tool, one that catches the eye is the feature that allows you to convert the bot to Azure resources if the setup ever outgrows the no-code/low-code stage. This way, you get to keep the bot from the no-code area. Since the service is also integrated with other tools like Microsoft Flow/Power Automate, it allows users to trigger actions based on information gathered by the chatbot.

Finally, the tools serves bot-builders further by generating advanced analytics that can allow users see the topics that are being asked of which the system has not been able to provide answers. Consequentially, you can identify discrepancies & deal with it.
