‘Gfeed’ turns your email into social feed for faster access – New app

If you use Gmail & want something to help you get through that Inbox as quickly as possible without it being a chore, then you might want to give ‘gfeed’ a try. Gfeed is simple & speedy, helping you “cruise” through your emails like you were scrolling through an Instagram feed, marking each message as read as you scroll though it.

Reading your email at Instagram speed means you’ll be reading your messages faster than you’d think possible. As you scroll through, your messages are archived & “starring” them saves them for later. If you click on the star icon, you get back to your starred messages.

As Hugo Olliphant, the California, USA-based founder of VUXO I states elsewhere, this app started out a bit over a year ago as an experiment in UI design. The app ultimately became a tool for getting to “mailbox zero”, which is the stated aim of the app, & gets you through your email 2-3 times faster than Gmail.

According to the product site, the main inspiration for the app’s main UI feature, is that people scroll through their email a lot. So we turned scrolling into part of how you prioritize & it works amazingly well.” The app only works with Gmail accounts & works well with the Gmail desktop or any other products & addons you may currently be using. However it’s not compatible with Google Inbox.

As the startup Site states, you can get started & become productive really quickly with gfeed.

Unlike other email clients, this doesn’t ask you to learn a new way of doing things. It’s just a ridiculously simple way to speed through your email.
