FYI gives creators a free micro Webpage on the Net – Startups

There are approximately 380 new Websites created every 60 seconds on the Net, so it’s easy to see that demand for this is high.

However, setting up a Webpage can be rather daunting, often expensive, especially if you don’t know much about the process. Additionally, many people don’t want a complicated system that they’ve to spend hours on to learn.

They simply want a Web presence, a profile page, which carries their personal stamp. Take an artist, for instance, who only needs to provide contact information & pictures of his/her work, or a teacher who needs to publish links to research documentation for students, or even a brick-and-mortar store owner, who wants to feature products on the Web for purchase in store. Whatever the reason, there are millions of creators out there, who are after an easy-to-use system that features a shareable Webpage, which is inexpensive & uncomplicated to set up.

To cater to this demand FYI has created software & made it available over the Internet, which creates a micro Webpage that it has called a Smartlist. These pages are free to set up, & involve little more than signing up for the service & completing a few Online forms.

Creators can publish a list of links in seconds, which include rich media, such as audio & video files, as well as images, links to documents & other files. Each user is given their Webpage with a header & footer area, with carefully designed cards depicting different types of Content. The resulting URL can be shared with everyone.

Each FYI page is listed in a database maintained by the developers. As a result the Website offers not only a creation platform, but a fully featured information hub that users can search for interesting Content. Where data is scarce, on certain subjects, FYI offers links & videos to users from around the Net.

So if you’re in need of a presence on the Net, head over to FYI. The system is free to use, but FYI also offers a premium (paid) version, with advanced features such Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Vanity Domain, among other powerful resources.
