First There Was Slack, Now There’s Slack AI – News

One month following the introduction of a fresh user experience for Sales representatives and a controversial redesign that elicited mixed reactions from its worldwide user community, the messaging application Slack is forging ahead with its mission to enhance collaborative work for businesses.

Today, the platform, now owned by Salesforce, has unveiled “Slack AI” — a novel suite of generative AI capabilities that will seamlessly integrate into the messaging interface. These capabilities are anticipated to empower users, helping them save time and enhance their productivity.

These advanced features will be showcased at Salesforce’s annual Dreamforce conference in the upcoming week. Additionally, the conference will feature a new Lists feature designed to enhance the management of assigned tasks and an updated workflow builder. This updated builder will expand accessibility to automation creation, enabling a broader user base to efficiently accomplish tasks within the platform.
