Don’t like that object in your pic? Make it vanish
If only I could make it vanish with a magic wand, it would be so perfect is a common rue of shutterbugs. Well, now you can unearth “the aesthetics of absence”. ‘Deep Angel’ is a tool that offers to auto-disappear things for you on their platform. Which means you can use it to remove anything from within your image. You can either upload your own photos or submit a public Instagram account to the Artificial Intelligence (AI) tool which then removes what you chose. The platform was developed at the MIT Media Lab in the Scalable Cooperation group, with original idea by Matt Groh, Manuel Cebrian, Ziv Epstein. Deep Angel is powered by a neural network architecture that builds upon Mask R-CNN & Deep Fill to create an end-to-end targeted object removal pipeline, states their Website.
