DesignCap: specialized templates for all your graphic design needs – Startups

Conceptualising assets for graphic design resources often results in “head-spinning” brainstorming & extended sessions. Finding just the right images, fonts & layouts for particular needs means hours of searching the Internet & often coming up empty-handed despite the effort.

DesignCap, a software tool developed by PearlMountain (a company operating from Sichuan, Gansu, China), aims to enable graphic designers the opportunity to accomplish their creative ambitions without undue pain.

DesignCap promises to make it easy to create custom infographics, presentations, posters & social media graphics using thousands of ready- made templates specifically designed for the purpose. Each template can be customized, resulting in endless possibilities. The software suite offers access to a vast image library as well as hundreds of fonts to upscale their basic templates. Users can also include their own assets such as images, which they can upload to add to their customization effort.

Templates are categorized according to a broad range of end uses, namely: data visualization, special occasions, marketing & social media. This organization of resources makes it simple to find the right template to use from the thousands on offer. DesignCap’s editing tools simplify the process of changing the basics to suit any purpose, but although easy to manipulate the software developers believe that they still offer powerful end-result capability.

The software is aimed at desktop users, but the developers are planning a mobile friendly version for the near future. Three basic plans are on offer, with a limited resource option, totally free to use. The free plan allows for 5 image uploads, 5 design saves & JPG only exports, while the top Pro versions supports high resolution PNG & PDF exports, 1000 image uploads and up to 1000 design saves.

Tutorials & tips are on offer for users who come across any difficulties, so DesignCap seems to have all the bases covered to give users the best possible experience when designing their next graphic masterpiece.
