Check & measure your photo popularity & influence on Instagram

pictureio

‘Picture.io’ is Web tool that measures the impact of both, the posted visual Content & its creator. With using visuals to communicate & sharing one’s aspirations becoming an emerging trend, this tool comes in handy by measuring the impact of the visual you have posted on your social media platform. In the process of doing this, it also measures the impact of the creator “you”.

Picture.io measures the impact of the creator by taking into consideration the creator’s ability to build active & invested communities around their media e.g. Instagram. Visual influence is imperative in that it is the way you frame the world you live in, hence it plays a significant part in how you communicate & relate to others. Therefore, the tool’s aim is to help you improve the ways you connect & engage with your friends, customers or online following in general.

Unlike Klout Score, -another tool that measures your ability to drive action in a text-based & link driven universe – picture.io broadens this idea of measuring by providing a new layer that helps in understanding both the Content shared & its creator i.e. you. This tool uses the Content & network forces to calculate your scores for socially connected visual media. Although currently picture.io doesn’t give you structured information on how to use your score to develop & improve your impact; its developers claim to be working on new tools that will give the user directions & insights.

Picture.io is powered by Chute, which is a platform which provides visual search, insights, rights management & publishing for marketing organizations. The Chute algorithm takes into account your likes, comments & time to determine your influence score & photo popularity. To use this tool you can sign in with Instagram where you can also find out your score.

Chute, which is the company behind picture.io, was co-founded by Ranvir Gujral, its CEO, Gregarious Narain its CTO & Gaurav Sharma, who is the Lead Engineer. It is located in San Francisco, USA.
