Now, voice record your emails, let add-on do ‘write’ thing – #Startups

Answering or writing a number of emails in any business is a task, especially if you face challenges in writing in English. ‘Wordzen’ claims to help you with this exercise & makes sure that email editing is ‘write’ up your alley. It offers to construct or answer emails for you. All you have to do, is send out a voice message while going about your daily business; no more typing, just simple organization of email output.

Wordzen, available as a Chrome Extension, offers tools to write your emails, however, this add-on is not a transcription email writer. An “official Gmail add-on”, Wordzen offers to listen to your voice recordings & actually write your mail in a logical, clear fashion, & correct it if you seem to have stumbled over your words.

Moreover, there no denying that typing takes time. Here, recording a message is much quicker. Now, transcribing often creates errors, which makes the result unusable. So, Wordzen, gets around this problem by physically using your voice message to write the real thing.

Is Wordzen, then, just a fancy spellchecker? Not at all, says the Website. If you are not comfortable with your English writing skills, then as an email editing tool, Wordzen will proofread messages you’ve typed & will help you write a concise professional mail that isn’t grammatically incorrect, out of context or incoherent.

For optimum functionality, Wordzen suggests that you install both the Gmail add-on as well as the Chrome Extension (desktop only) to get the best results.

It is imperative that clients develop a level of trust with any add-on. Therefore, Wordzen offers an option for users to preview mail & save to draft before committing to send as a user needs to ratify the email before it is sent.

G-suite by Google is supported by the add-on. In Android, Wordzen’s ‘mic’ automatically appears at the base of each message. However, the add-on workaround for iOS is a little more complicated & the Website’s FAQ page addresses this issue.
