This development signifies Microsoft’s intention to establish a competitive presence in the realm of AI across various platforms beyond their own ecosystem. This expansion is set to include spaces where Bing Chat is already functional, such as the Bing mobile application and the Microsoft Edge web browser. Furthermore, this move will position the AI chatbot in direct competition with the integrated tools found in other browsers, such as Google’s generative AI search capabilities, currently available in the Google mobile app and the Chrome browser.
