But much of that activity along the United States East & even the West coasts came to a halt because of Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack. From Spotify & Reddit to the New York Times, the attack started around 7 am Eastern Time & was aimed at Dyn, an Internet infrastructure company headquartered in New Hampshire. It’s a Cloud-based Internet Performance Management company that ensures networks & apps are working to an optimum.
