Here’s 1 more project on Online team collaboration. Microsoft’s GigJam productivity service is now in private beta. If you or your team wants access to it, you may click here.

GigJam is aimed at helping teams of people collaborate in real time over the Web. It combines data from a variety of services including Microsoft’s own Office 365, Trello, Dropbox, & Salesforce. Users can then bring that information into a shared workspace, allowing them to quickly work together.

Basically 1 team member starts a “Gig,”, pulling in information from Salesforce or Office, or anyplace else. That information shows up as a card inside GigJam, where users can highlight some information inside a card, redact other information, & then send it off to another user for review. The next person only sees the information that’s being shared with him.

GigJam works with your existing SaaS & line of business systems. It communicates with them using standard REST APIs & honors your existing authorization mechanisms & policies.
