Mozilla acquires Pocket – News

Mozilla has just completed its 1st strategic acquisition. It has acquired read-it-later Internet app Pocket.

The latter, said an announcement on the official Mozilla blog, will join Mozilla’s product portfolio as a new product line alongside the Firefox Web browsers with a focus on promoting the discovery & accessibility of high quality Web Content.

Pocket, previously known as Read It Later, is an application & service for managing a reading list of articles from the Internet. It is available for OS X, Windows, iOS, Android, Windows Phone, BlackBerry, Kobo eReaders, & Web browsers.
