Massive vulnerability found in Android devices

Yet another “massive” vulnerability in Android devices has been uncovered by security researchers. This one allowed hackers to access a device remotely without the owner ever knowing his device had been compromised. The flaw may have affected roughly 95% of Android devices running operating system version 2.2 to 5.1, said cybersecurity firm Zimperium.
Hackers used a person’s telephone number to send a media file via MMS that gave them entry into a device. What’s more, a device owner would never know. Hackers could conceivably send through the trojan file while the device’s owner was sleeping, got access to their phone, & then deleted any evidence the phone was hacked. Once the exploit was completed, a hacker could remotely operate a phone’s microphone, steal files, read emails, & get personal credentials.
