[sg_popup id=”12″ event=”onload”][/sg_popup]Sharing Online is an integral part of this generation. People love to share things that they are proud of. Or, well, not so proud of, too. Social media helps people do that. However, that sharing capability is limited to information. People can also share images but given the influx of low-quality images on social media, it is rarely a source for high-quality imagery.

‘Codefield’ is a new Web-based platform through which people can share tools & projects to help designers, photographers, & developers finish & jumpstart their projects.

This app comes with a fairly simple dashboard, a projects tab, a photos tab, a Google fonts tab & a ‘Favorites’ tab. Users will only gain access via signing in either with their Facebook or their Github accounts. Besides being able to upload their own work they can also view & download other peoples work be it projects or images.

However, there are some guidelines that users uploading their work need to abide by, such as copyright laws, etc.

Codefield lets people download any of the Content & use as they see fit under the Codefield license for photos & under the MIT license for projects. The Codefield license is quite similar to the creative commons license, only adding a few more restrictions.

Codefield also gives relevant feedback on the activities surrounding a project or photo. This will include both views & downloads.

The startup was launched in early 2018. Codefield is currently free of charge to all users while at the same time it makes it clear that at some point in future they intend to start charging a small monthly fee. There are also plans to add some more capabilities to codefield though unspecified at the moment.

The sole proprietor for Codefield goes by the name Kristi Tanellari, a developer based out of New York, USA.
