Soon, you will be able to order food Online without an intermediary app. Google has announced the launch of that ability.
It combines Google Search, Maps, the Assistant & Google Pay. While Google itself will not be delivering the food to you, it has partnered with delivery companies like DoorDash, Postmates, Delivery.com, Slice & ChowNow. More will be added soon.
Users can see the list of restaurants & order from the “Order Online” button in Search & Maps when you search for a specific restaurant or cuisine. Here you can pick between pickup & delivery, select the service & your food. Then, pay with Google Pay; it’s that simple.
