You can now track the trackers with the new Firefox – Quick wrap

Mozilla has introduced a feature in Firefox browser that offers users a free report outlining the number of third-party & social media trackers blocked automatically by it with the feature called, ‘Enhanced Tracking Protection’.

The Firefox Privacy Protections report includes:

  • How many times Enhanced Tracking Protection blocks an attempt to tag you with cookies:  One of the many unseen ways that Firefox keeps users “safe” is to block third-party tracking cookies. It’s part of its Enhanced Tracking Protection that was launched by default in September. It prevents 3rd-party trackers from building a profile of you based on your Online activity. Now, users will be able to see the number of cross-site & social media trackers, fingerprinters & cryptominers that will be blocked.
  • Keep up to date on data breaches with Firefox Monitor: Now, users can view at a glance a summary of the number of unsafe passwords that may have been used in a breach, so that they can take action to update & change those passwords.
  • Manage your passwords & synced devices with Firefox Lockwise: Now, you can get a brief look at the number of passwords you have safely stored with Firefox Lockwise. There’s a new button for that.
