Voice calling coming to WhatsApp iOS app in about a fortnight

On, off, on, off, that’s what’s been happening on the voice calling feature of WhatsApp for iOS. You can make voice calls through WhatsApp from an Apple device but so far, it requires a jailbroken phone. Soon, that may be a thing of the past, as WhatsApp plans to officially introduce voice calling on its iOS app. Cofounder Brian Acton announced this at the Facebook’s F8 developers conference in Los Angeles, USA. Acton said that WhatsApp had spent the last year refining its voice calling feature before launching it on Android. But soon, it would be available on iOS, too.
