Use ‘mailparser.io’ to extract vital, actionable data from your emails

mailparser

If your business relies on email messages to do your ordering, invoicing, banking or any of the dozens of typical business transactions done by email every day, then you might want to give mailparser.io a try. It’s a service to which you can forward relevant emails with important data to, it then extracts all relevant data based on custom parsing rules & sends the data to the apps you already use, or you can just download it.

The parsing service automatically grabs data from recurring emails that you identify as relevant & applies the custom parsing rules that you define. The data can then be sent to a number of business applications via pre-existing integrations that mailparser.io comes with, or you can roll your own based on Webhooks, or just download the parsed data into common formats such as XML, Excel, CSV, PDF or JSON.

The integrations with Cloud-based apps are quite numerous & constantly expanding. For example, for CRM apps like: Agile CRM, ActiveCampaign, Base CRM, Close.io, Salesforce, ZohoCRM,  Microsoft Dynamics…; for sales & marketing automation apps like: HubSpot, Infusionsoft, MailChimp, MailerLite…; or for productivity, messaging & communications tools like: Gmail, Google Sheets, SoToMeeting, Office 365, Slack, Xero, Xendesk…

With mailparser.io, not only can you extract data from the subject line, sender info or email message body, you can also get data from attached files. It comes with ready-to-use templates for most common tasks, & you can tweak these templates to suit your needs, or create your own from scratch. You can pull data from attachments from the common file formats we mentioned & then apply filters to transform, refine & crop the data.

It’s simple to use the service, as it can be run directly from your Web browser, & setting up parsing is easy, as no coding or other tech skills are required. If you’re comfortable with the Zapier Web app workflow app, which integrates with mailparser.io, you can expand your integration possibilities even further.

The startup is based in Paris, France, & was launched in 2013 by Moritz Dausinger, its founder & CEO. He claims that more than 40k emails are processed by their service every day & that they currently count with “hundreds” of customers.
