Use ‘Demonstrate’ to create native app demos without writing code

demonstrateDo you want to make app prototypes without code & share them quickly? Well, there’s great news for you. ‘Demonstrate’ phone app will help you do just that. This new app will enable your phone to be your editor, i.e. make an app prototype in minutes & with zero coding.

Demonstrate uses native transitions, gestures, & Header/ Footer locks for the long screen. This allows you to import your sketches, either paper or whiteboards, & high fidelity screen from your Dropbox or camera roll. Unlike other prototyping apps that have a web interface, this is a device only app.

Some of the features that Demonstrate’s creators claim makes it stand out include:

  1. You will be able to play your designs like a native app. Using its play button you will see your designs work like a native app. You can exit from this play mode by pinching your screen.
  2. You will be able to import designs & link screens. You can import all your mobile screen designs by quickly connecting to Dropbox. How about linking screens? Demonstrate allows you to add hotspots & link screens to create your workflow. Linking a hotspot will take you to a grid of screens that will help you to select easily & add transitions.
  3. A great prototyping app must be designed to not only have a great visual design but also enable you to share your projects. Demonstrate doesn’t disappoint as you will be able to share your projects in editable or in a play-only mode.

If you are not a designer, no worries as Demonstrate’s developers claim that it allows you to use your camera to capture sketch & wireframes. Also, choose native transitions & gestures from their library as well as import app prototypes created by other people.

Unfortunately for Android users, Demonstrate is only available to iOS users. The current version is an improvement from the earlier one released in 2013. It requires iOS 8.4 or later and is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch & iPad.

This mobile prototyping app is powered by Dropbox. It is developed by ThreeSea Technologies Private Limited & NFN Labs whose co-founder is Sanaal. It is located in Chennai, India.
