This smartphone has no ports

Smartphone brand ‘meizu’ isn’t quite as popular in the West compared to its other Chinese counterparts despite the fact that it releases several phones in a year. However, all that may be about to change with the release of its latest meizu Zero which has caught the attention of everyone in the tech world.

The meizu Zero is the very 1st “holeless” mobile device. This radically designed mobile phone lacks the regular holes & ports you would expect in a normal phone. There are no buttons at all & even speaker grills & ports are absent.

Rumor has it that Vivo has the same concept in development & plans to unveil it during the Mobile World Congress coming up Barcelona next month. However, it seems meizu has beaten Vivo to the cheese with the unveiling of its own sleek & seamless uninterrupted slab of glass & metal.

In terms of design, we have to admit that meizu has really done a fantastic job of finding impressive ways around some very crucial smartphone components. For example, In place of speakers, the meizu zero makes use of a piezoelectric transducer located under the phone’s display. This transducer pumps sound through the screen though vibrations.
