This alarm switches off only when the app clicks your morning wake-up selfie – New app

By: Taarika Ghaswalla
Snap Me Up, an app offered by developer Dehun, allows you to set an alarm which can only be turned off when it takes a picture of your face.Waking up without hitting the snooze button is possible. This free alarm app for Android, which will stop only after taking a selfie, is a new way of getting up & starting your day. As the alarm goes off all you have to do is turn on the lights, look into the camera & click! The alarm will not be dismissed until your face is detected on the camera & you take a photo of it.

Alarms can be set in a very easy & indeed, elegant way. An option to set a timer on your alarm is also available. This option is very useful for example to take a quick nap or to take out your baked goods from the oven. All your snaps will be saved under a folder called, ‘My Sleepy Snaps’ in your device’s gallery. You can go back & view your snaps anytime you want, & share them too. These pictures aren’t shared with anyone unless you select so.

Another way this app helps to awaken you with a smile is by waking you up everyday with a different image, this image is selected at random from your phone gallery.

There are various new alarm layouts with a variety of colours. The new clock mode makes it easier for you to access the app.
