Instagram users may have, by now, noticed a small compass icon that, when clicked on, takes them to a new page where they can “discover” other users. The new button is located near the top-right corner of the window when you’re viewing Instagram.com in the browser.

The new YouTube Trending Page collects recent videos that are surging in popularity based on their view count, number of comments, & other sites linking to them.
Have you been saving pictures with Facebook’s Photo Sync feature? They will soon be moved to another property. TechCrunch 1st spotted this move. Facebook has started notifying users that starting January 10 next year, Content from Photo Sync is now going to live in its ‘Moments’ app. The company has not talked of the reasons behind this decision so far.

The announcement, coming officially from FB, says the process starts with a small percentage of people in the US on iPhones.
Google search users in the US using iOS or Android devices will now be able to bookmark images that they come across in mobile search in order to find them again later.
