Support for Android Nearby Notifications to be discontinued – News
On December 6, 2018, Google will discontinue the official support for Nearby Notifications for Android. However, related APIs will be available for developers to develop proximity-based experiences, device-to-device connectivity experiences, & device discovery & pairing.
