Starlink sends out invites for global roaming Internet service – News

A new “Global Roaming Service” that promises Internet access wherever on land in the world is being tested by Starlink, a firm owned by SpaceX.

In a message sent to Starlink subscribers, the business claims that it will cost them $200 per month in addition to the $599 price of a Starlink starter kit.

Universal Roaming utilizes Starlink’s inter-satellite links to offer connectivity all across the globe, the business stated in an email to consumers, according to this report. According to the company’s email, customers may anticipate its usual high-speed, low-latency service combined with brief instances of subpar connectivity or none at all.
