Starting today, Spotify’s free podcasting platform — Video Podcasts – is now available in 180 worldwide markets, which means almost everywhere on the globe.
Initially, it was available to creators in the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, & Canada. With Video Podcasts, Spotify is offering fans flexibility—to consume Content as video or audio. On Spotify, users can alternate between active watching (with video in the foreground) or lean-back listening (with video in the background).
