TechCrunch reports that social network Hive has taken the radical step of shutting down its servers for a couple of days following concerns raised by security researchers on vulnerabilities.
Several of them remain unfixed, perhaps necessitating such a step. The loopholes allowed attackers access to all data, including private posts & messages, shared media & even deleted direct messages, said the research report.
