“Snailana” brings a unique concept to the minting of NFTs – Digital lifestyle

The Solana cryptocurrency & NFTs have been much in the news of late; Snailana, a unique platform that combines both, has launched a collection of 6174 computer-generated, cute snails that can be minted as NFTs for 1.5 Sol each. These snails can then be nurtured by their owners & participate in snail races to earn royalties on the platform.

Snailana NFTs are stored on the Solana Blockchain. Each snail has distinguishable traits & the backstory requires that their new owners transport them to the Solana Chain Planet. Ownership is recorded on the Solana blockchain with each snail reportedly having its own unique DNA recorded as well.

The platform plans to hold weekly races that have around 100 participants & 5 race winners will receive royalties on their wins. This gamification idea is bound to be very popular with snail owners & promotes the opportunity for Snailana to build a strong community around their platform, which will sustain interest in their NFTs.

All snail adopters are able to trade their “pets” in different marketplaces such as Solsea, Solana Art & Digital Eye. The floor price on Digital Eye is currently 2 Sol with some of the snails being marketed for as much as 460 Sol each, & that’s only the growth one day after Snailana’s launch. More than 100 snails have already been sold on the platform for the launch price of 1.5 Sol & it seems that very soon they’ll all be snapped up.

The concept also includes a breeding platform built on the Solana blockchain allowing Snailana owners to “breed” their snails with other owners’ snails. Additionally, there is Snailana Tinder, a social network for owners to meet like minded singles in the Snailana community. Since each snail on the Snailana platform has a unique DNA & doubles as a limited-edition NFT drop, they are, presumably, going to increase in value as time goes by.

In addition to all these high notes about Snailana they also intend to support charity with their commitment to donating to animal related charity foundations that are in severe need of aid, one of which is a snail related Non profit organization focused on these endangered Mollusca.
