Slack Connect, a new feature, allows team members to work with people outside of their company in channels & direct messages (DMs).
By default, members can work in channels with people outside. Owners & admins can enable or disable the option for members to share channels at any time. Users send an invite to anyone via their work email address, If the recipient accepts, their new contact is added to their Slack sidebar.
