In a real-world meets digital world effort, Facebook has launched “Ray-Ban Stories”, smart glasses that allow users to capture photos & video, listen to music or take phone calls.
From daily activities like riding your bike to attending a music festival, Ray-Ban Stories’ dual integrated 5MP cameras let you capture these moments as they happen from a 1st-person perspective.
Among the many things you can do are:
- Record the world as you see it
- Take photos & up to 30-second videos using the capture button or hands-free with Facebook Assistant voice commands
- Listen to audio from open-ear speakers that are built in
- Record audio or make phone calls with Ray-Ban Stories’ 3-microphone audio array
- Share your Content
The use of “Beamforming” technology & a background noise suppression algorithm provide for an enhanced calling experience, says Facebook.
