“Power Pages” from Microsoft offers users the option to create low-code businesses Sites

Microsoft has launched a new product called Power Pages with the intention of enabling non-technical people to build data-driven, business-centric Web apps quickly & efficiently.

Power Pages offers a low-code option to build secure Websites with advanced capabilities that include customizable layouts, Content, images & videos.

There are 4 distinct solutions that make up the development suite of tools:

The Design Studio

Users can employ the Design Studio to build projects from scratch or select from templates on offer to configure their design. The builder has “click-to-fix” customization options as well as drop & drag functionality. This means that it’s incredibly easy & fast to build data-driven business websites that are automatically PWA (Progressive Web App) ready. Website pages can include text, video, images, data forms & lists, & more.

The Templates Hub

View full-featured Websites complete with demo data, that handle scheduling, registration, application submission, & other common business functionality. These template Websites can be customized to suit most businesses needs, such as offering information in the form of FAQs, allowing clients to apply for licenses, engage with customer or partner programs & services & many other common business requirements.

The Learn Hub

Offers tutorials & guides so that anyone, even novices, can learn to build data-driven business Websites in minutes.

Microsoft’s Dataverse

Collect & store data in Dataverse tables, then display & organize it with the Power Pages built in table designer. Data collection is enabled by a set of ready-to-use forms that are easy to deploy. Once data is collected the information can be used on the website to build sortable, searchable tabular displays.

The tools available also allow developers to build role based permissions, such as displaying certain data only to those who are logged into the web platform.

Another exciting feature on offer will allow users to employ Microsoft’s AI builder to turn sketches, images & PDF files into fully functional websites at the click of a button. Also, all sites built using Power Pages can be opened in Visual Studio so that added functionality & customized Javascript & CSS can be added at will.

Microsoft is offering a 30 day free trial to potential customers here.
