“Podcast Editors” handles all post-recording edits for podcasters – Startups

Podcast Editors offers a one-stop podcast editing service to Content creators. Producing a professional podcast takes a lot more than simply recording the Content. The recording often needs to be edited & remastered for public listening. Many of the tasks involved are tedious & require a skilled hand, which means that creators have to spend hours fixing, altering & updating technical details instead of concentrating on their creative process.

The service offered by Podcast Editors takes care of all aspects of podcast creation, post-recording including:

  1. Transcription
  2. Show notes
  3. Minor & Lengthy edits
  4. ID3 metadata tagging
  5. Clip embedding
  6. Audio mastering
  7. Voice balancing
  8. Voice clean-up
  9. Multi-track channel sync

Podcasters can take advantage of the editing services offered by Podcast Editors by signing up on their Website. Once a creator joins, the service allocates a dedicated editor to the user. The editors work on the raw recording & sends emails to podcasters on a regular basis. Turn around time depends on the quality of the editorial notes provided by the client to the service, but the editors usually offer a 3 day turnaround time.

The system works in a series of steps. Firstly, the client must select either the Trial ($79) or the Essential package ($99 for a maximum of 40 minutes recording ) & then select any add-on services they require, such as, transcription, show notes or lengthy edits (priced at $10, $10 & $20 respectively). Next, they must upload their file or files to Podcast Editors’ servers. The editors then get to work & send out edits for review. Clients can request minor adjustments free of charge, but major changes attract an additional fee. Once the podcast is ready, clients can upload the professional recording to their host (or ask Podcast Editors to do this on their behalf).

The service intends to add a host of other useful features in the near future including: building podcasts from scratch, post-production planning, setting up recording environments as well as advice on how to grow an audience for various markets on social media.
